Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Infinity Sounds is run by CJ Fusion Pty Ltd (ABN 80 679 671 606) trading as Infinity Sounds, based in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). These terms apply to everyone who uses infinitysounds.com.au. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Where these terms say we're not responsible for something, that only applies as far as the law allows.
2. Listening
You don't need an account to listen or to tap Hit or Miss. Music on Infinity Sounds is for personal, non-commercial listening only. Please don't download, rip, re-upload, sell or otherwise reuse any track, artwork or artist content without the artist's permission. Please don't try to fake plays or votes (bots, scripts, or anything else that games the counts).
3. Artist accounts
- You must be 18 or older to apply for an artist account.
- Every application is reviewed by a real person. We can approve or decline any application, and we'll tell you if you're declined.
- The details you give us must be true, including your real name, which we keep private (see our Privacy Policy).
- Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
- One artist or band per account, unless we agree otherwise.
- Mark any track with swearing, or sexual, violent or drug references, as Explicit. We may add or remove the label if a track is marked wrongly.
4. The no-AI rule
Infinity Sounds is for music made by real people. When you upload a track you declare that:
- the music, vocals, lyrics and beats were written, performed and produced by you or by real collaborators; and
- no part of it was generated by an AI music, vocal or lyric tool (for example Suno, Udio, AI voice clones or AI "vocal swaps").
Normal production tools are fine: DAWs, plugins, licensed samples, auto-tune, and mixing and mastering tools. See Our promise for examples. If you're unsure whether a tool is allowed, ask us before you upload.
We may ask for proof such as stems, project files or recording footage. If we reasonably believe a track breaks the no-AI rule, we can remove it. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to your account being suspended or closed. We'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond, except where that isn't reasonable (for example in cases of fraud or a clear breach).
We review every artist and every report we receive, but no review process is perfect. We can't guarantee that no track on the site was made using AI.
5. Your music stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You confirm that you own it, or have all the permissions you need (including from producers, featured artists, sample owners and any label or publisher), to upload it and let us use it as described here.
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, convert (for example into streaming formats), stream, display and promote your uploads and profile on Infinity Sounds and in promotion of Infinity Sounds, for as long as the content is on the site. When you delete a track or close your account, this licence ends. Copies may stay in backups for a short time before they're overwritten.
You consent to us making minor changes needed to display your work, such as resizing or cropping artwork, converting audio formats and showing your name and credits in our standard layout. We will always credit you as the artist.
We don't currently pay royalties or charge fees. If that changes, we'll tell you first and ask for your agreement.
6. What you can't upload or do
- Content you don't own or don't have permission to share.
- Content that's unlawful, defamatory, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or that harasses or exploits anyone (including anyone under 18).
- Someone else's identity, name or likeness without their permission.
- Malware, spam, or attempts to break, overload or get around the site's security.
7. Removing content and closing accounts
You can delete your tracks or ask us to close your account at any time. We can remove content or suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, if we receive a valid complaint (see Copyright & reports), or if we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable, we'll explain why.
8. The site itself
The Infinity Sounds name, logo and site design belong to us. We're a small, independent service and we'll do our best to keep the site running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We can change or stop features. If we plan to close the service, we'll give artists reasonable notice so they can keep copies of their profile information.
9. Liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content uploaded by artists. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it's limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. You're responsible for any loss caused by you breaking these terms or uploading content you didn't have the right to upload.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows. We'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell artists by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can close your account before it takes effect.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. Nothing here stops you from contacting a consumer protection agency such as NSW Fair Trading.
